Joanne Russ  is originally from Milford, CT but, has spent most of her life in Florida and is knowledgeable in all areas of SW Florida.  Joanne Russ has also lived in both Panama and Costa Rica for a short time.  She has diverse professional experience that includes being the Executive Director of the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge in Destin, FL, to being the owner operator of a restaurant in Key West.  Joanne Russ is happy to be back home in SW Florida and working in real estate.  Her passion for people has led to an extensive tenure in the service industry.

Joanne Russ teaches a US Sailing certified Safe Power Boating course. She is an avid lover of wildlife and marine life and knows a lot of great spots for observing all kinds of local wonders. Joanne Russ enjoys traveling, kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, gardening and cooking.
